I've had some folks I know leave the planet this year, too, and that loss has a way of trumping the rat race. If we're honest, we've let a bunch of dunderheads steal our country (the Bush regime), and now it looks like The Who said it best with "Meet the new boss: same as the old boss) - as much as I want to believe in Obama, I have stopped believing in powerful people - they are egomaniacal assholes who can go F***k themselves (of course, with rare exception). So look to those who Matter - family, close friends - or new ones who resonate. I believe we are One Race; One Family, and the American side of the family is acting like a bunch of jerks (while the Islamic part of the family is going to extremes to get the American's attention). We ALL need to STOP for awhile, and look within. We need perspective. We need to cultivate LOVE. <br><br>Life is a terminal disease, with pain and frustration to share the journey like the crazy hitcher you graciously offered a ride to, and now regret! So Stop! Let the hitcher out, and drive on alone for awhile. The destination is the same for us all - DEATH! So enjoy the journey - for its highs as well as its lows.
